The Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau is a subsidiary of Russia’s United Shipbuilding Corporation.
"This project is designed for foreign customers rather than the Russian Navy," Tsygankov said.

According to him, the designers of the small antisubmarine warfare ship view Southeast Asian countries as their main customers but they will be glad to cooperate with any other customer regardless of its region.
