The system was showcased at the combined stand of the holding company during the Army-2023 military-technical forum.

The use of Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology ensures the R-760 system has extensive modernization potential. This allows for improvements in both tactical and technical aspects, as well as setting the stage for further advancements in radio communication technology. Such advancements enhance the export potential of the product.

The equipment can be used across all ship types, including frontline warships. The system, developed by the Omsk Research Institute of Instrument Engineering (ONIIP, a part of Ruselectronics), facilitates surface ship communication with coastal command centers, other surface vessels, submarines, aircraft, and other external correspondents.

The technical solutions applied allow the modification of the communication system's components based on the ship's class and purpose without significant redesigns. During the ship's service life, the system's functional capabilities can be expanded by installing updated software without changing the hardware.
