The long voyage of the frigate "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov" commenced on January 4, 2023, when it departed from its home base of Severomorsk.

The frigate's crew took part in two international naval exercises in the waters of the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea and made official stopovers in the ports of South Africa, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Syrian Arab Republic.

Frigate Admiral Gorshkov

Originating from the Admiral Gorshkov-class (Project 22350), the ship's structure is marked by a displacement of approximately 5,400 tons and spans a length of 135 meters. Built for speed and agility, it is capable of navigating waters at a top speed of 29 knots.

The Gorshkov is equipped for a variety of operations. Its armaments include the Oniks and Kalibr cruise missiles, the Poliment-Redut air defense system, Paket-NK anti-submarine warfare torpedoes, and the A-192M 130mm naval gun.

The vessel has an onboard helipad and hangar that can accommodate anti-submarine warfare helicopters, highlighting its versatility in various naval operations.

Tanker Vyazma

The Vyazma is categorized under Project 23130 medium-sized tankers. Boasting a displacement nearing 9,000 tons, the ship stretches to 130 meters in length. It relies on a diesel-electric propulsion system, which allows it to maintain consistent speeds of up to 16 knots.

The ship is designed to play a pivotal role in naval support. She can transport both liquid and dry cargo, a feature that underscores its versatility. One of its key capabilities lies in its refueling mechanism, which is equipped to refuel three ships simultaneously, making it an integral part of extended naval operations.
