UMEX 2024: China's Naval company Hisibi showcases SD160 patrol vessel

The SD160 High Speed Patrol Vessel is constructed from high-performance composite material, designed to handle both official and military tasks. It can be equipped with weapons as required by the user. The vessel is notable for its speed, reaching a top speed of 70 knots, and maintains good maneuverability.

For defense capabilities, the SD160 includes an automatic weapon station and a missile launcher suitable for vertical launched cruise missiles. It can operate effectively in sea states up to level 4, and features quick acceleration and maneuverability.

The vessel is also equipped with radar and has the capacity to carry an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). In terms of size, the SD160 is 15.57 meters long, has a beam of 3.18 meters, and a draught of 0.81 meters. It weighs 13.0 tons. Powered by a diesel engine with a total of 2200 HP (4x550 HP), it has a fuel capacity of 3200 liters and a range of 1000 kilometers.
