Royal Navy F-35 pilots have left the UK to take part in a multi-national combat exercise in the USA for the first time. Group Captain Jim Beck, RAF Marham Station Commander said: "This is another first for the Lightning Force and will give the opportunity for our pilots to relly put the F-35s to the test in a combat-representative environment."

Indonesian state-owned shipbuilder PT PAL launched the first diesel-electric submarine built in Indonesia on April 11, 2019, in Surabaya. The Alugoro (405) is the third of the Nagapasa-class submarine (also known as the DSME 1400 design or Improved Chang Bogo-class) for the Indonesian Navy.

The employment effect of the contract in Finland is approximately 50 man-years.

According to the Indian newspaper The Economic Times, the Indian Navy will purchase only six additional Ka-31 radar patrol helicopters in Russia, instead of ten previously planned. This is due to insufficient financing of the Indian fleet, which in 2020 was allocated only 41259 crore rupees ($ 5.815 billion) from the budget, instead of the required Navy 64307 crore rupees ($ 7.654 billion). However, the purchase of a batch of Ka-31 remains one of the priorities of the Indian Navy.

The U.S. Navy and its maritime partners kicked off operations for the multilateral exercise Sea Dragon 2020, Jan 20. Service members from the U.S Navy, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), Japan Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF), the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) and the Royal New Zealand Navy (RNZN) are all participating in SEA DRAGON 2020.

In line with the projects carried out by Turkish company Meteksan Defence in the field of radar systems, the agreement for design and develop of "35 GHz Radar Cross Section (RCS) Measurement System" for Turkish Navy was signed on July 13, 2018, between Turkish Navy Research Center Command (ARMERKOM) and Meteksan Defence Industry Inc.

The Empowered Aex Committee (EAC) reviewed the progress in the construction of the boat at the Cochin Shipyard on Monday. The IAC-1 is in a very advanced stage of construction with primary engines, all four gas turbines, and power generation systems comprising eight diesel alternators, ready. Trials of the vessel’s major systems and auxiliary equipment are already in progress.
