Brahmos Missile May Get French Navigation System Technology
to Indo-Asian News Service, France has agreed 'in principle'
to India's request for a crucial internal guidance technology
to be provided by French company Safran (Sagem) for the BrahMos
anti-ship missile. The issue was discussed in a bilateral
meeting between the French Minister of Defence Jean-Yves Le
Drian and visiting Indian Minister of State for Defence Production
Rao Inderjit Singh.
Ministry of Defence Wants Entire Fleet of Il-38 MPA Upgraded to Il-38N
Government official news agency TASS is reporting that the
Russian Defence Ministry plans to order the upgrade of the
entire fleet of Ilyushin Il-38 Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA).
The declaration came from Russian naval aviation commander
Igor Kozhin on Tuesday.
