"A shipborne multipurpose fighter jet of the 100th Separate Shipborne Fighter Air Regiment landed on the aircraft carrier’s deck for the first time. The plane was operated by the regiment’s commander," the source said.

"The aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov will return to the 35th shipyard approximately after August 15 to undergo the second stage of its maintenance and technical readiness restoration," the source said.

"The ship will stay at the shipyard through October 1," the source added.
Images of the MiG-29K fighter jet with ‘38 blue’ number staying in the aircraft carrier’s hangar were posted on the internet later.

The plane seems to have performed a flight without weapons and external fuel tanks.
