Italian Shipyard Vittoria to deliver two 35 meters Patrol Boats to Tunisia National Guard
 
Italian shipyard Cantiere Navale Vittoria delivered in early December the first of two 35 meters "Patrouilleur" patrol boats for the National Guard of Tunisia. The boats main tasks will be to monitor traffic and fight against illegal immigration.

Based on the P350 Patrol Boat (a Fast Service S.n.c. design) already in use by the Lybian Coast Guards,

The boat is a light alloy construction capable of 43 knots.

The propulsion is provided by a couple of MTU 16V 4000 M93 and two Kamewa 63 NP S3 waterjets.

They are multi-purpose unit, suitable for the control of territorial waters, the rapid reaction operations to combat smuggling, piracy surveillance and rescue at sea.

The P350 can be equipped with two RIB for intervention and rescue operations.

The unit is designed to install guns up to the caliber of 30 mm.
