The ship is 98.5 meters in length, 13.2 meters in width, 7.6 meters in depth, and can reach 24 knots in speed, which is longer, bigger, and more resistant to waves than the previous 1000-ton class ships.

In order to strengthen the ability of evidence collection and search and rescue, Changhua is equipped with a night vision system, which can perform all-weather surveillance operations under adverse sea conditions, and is also equipped with a flight deck for helicopter landing and take-off for aircrew transport and casualty evacuation operations.

Changhua is also equipped with four high-pressure water cannons with a horizontal range of 120 meters, which can effectively combat fishing vessels that cross the border and enhance the enforcement and fishing protection capabilities in the northeast monsoon period.

In addition, Changhua ship is equipped with two police rescue boats with a maximum speed of 35 knots on the left and right sides, which can be put down from the mother ship to carry out rescue and anti-smuggling duties, effectively enhancing the law enforcement and fishing protection energy in our country's waters, and also carrying out rescue duties at sea.

The system is manufactured by the intelligent ship team of TSC, which integrates the local manufacturers to produce the eight equipment signals such as main engine, speed reducer, CPP, generator, etc. into the cabin monitoring system.
