About the Diving Support Craft

Diving Support Craft (DSC) are vessels that are specifically designed to support underwater diving operations. They are typically used in commercial and military operations, such as underwater construction, salvage, and inspection.

DSCs are usually equipped with a variety of diving equipment, such as air compressors, storage tanks for breathing gases, and diving bells or chambers for transporting divers between the surface and the underwater worksite. They also have living quarters for the divers, and a control room for monitoring and communicating with the divers.

DSCs are generally larger and more heavily equipped than other types of dive boats, as they are meant to support divers for prolonged periods of time, and in harsher environments. They are typically equipped with cranes, winches, and other heavy-lifting equipment to handle the heavy loads associated with diving operations.
