Syrian Navy

The Syrian Navy is the maritime force of the Syrian Armed Forces.

The Syrian Navy is the maritime force of the Syrian Armed Forces.

The Syrian Navy is the smallest branch of the Armed Forces. Syria's naval capability has progressively decreased as it now mostly relies on older Soviet era vessels. However, the procurement of SS-N-26 / P-800 Yakhont will be a real improvement in anti-ship capabilities for the Syrian Navy

The Siryan Navy has 4,000 regular personnel, 2,500 reserve personnel and about 50 vessels of all types.
