The Royal Malaysian Air Force fighter and foreign pilots were expected to display their aerobatic skills on Russian fighter aircraft Sukhoi Su-30MKM, four American McDonnell Douglas F/A-18D Hornets and six BAE Systems Hawk 108/208. Pilots from Malaysia, India, Indonesia and Russia will showcase their capabilities during flying demonstration.

A total of 55 fighter jets, military aircraft and helicopters from Malaysia, India, Pakistan, the United States, Indonesia and Russia would perform aerial displays at the Langkawi International Airport.

The HAL Tejas fighter aircraft from the Indian Air Force who will be making its maiden appearance at LIMA`19 will also perform for daily airshow together with Jupiter from Indonesia and the Royal Malaysian Air Force.

The co-organiser of the exhibition, EN Project (M) Sdn Bhd is optimistic that this year’s show will be bigger and better than the previous editions. Declaring that,109 percent of the total exhibition floor space has been taken up.LIMA serves the region asan important platform to converge all defense and commercial, aero space and maritime industries.

More than 350 companies from 30 countries have confirmed their participation with more than 10,000 square meters of the exhibition floor space sold to local and international companies.
