The ARSENAL Defence System DS, featuring a 23x152 mm Cannon, represents a artillery solution. Mounted on a carriage with an electric drive and trigger, this system is adaptable for use on truck-type vehicles or in stationary positions. The cannon's operation is streamlined through a computer system, which includes both main and backup power sources, ensuring reliability in diverse environments.

Aiming the cannon is facilitated by an optical sight, allowing for precise targeting. The weapon is fed ammunition through a 50-round metal linked belt from a standard ammunition box compatible with the ZU-23.

The system's ammunition includes 23x152 mm rounds like API-T and HEI-T. It boasts a muzzle velocity of 970 meters per second and offers varied firing modes, including single, automatic, and burst fire.

With computer-controlled firing, the rate can reach up to 1000 rounds per minute, while the practical rate is about 100 rounds per minute. Its maximum firing range extends up to 2000 meters. The system can traverse 270 degrees (with an optional 360 degrees) and has an elevation range from -10 to +90 degrees.

The accuracy of the system in training set angles is within 0.2 milliradians. The cannon, with one barrel, has a system life of 3000 rounds and can sustain at least 100 rounds of fire without needing barrel cooling. The overall dimensions are approximately 3500 mm in length, 2000 mm in width, and 1600 mm in height, and it weighs around 900 kilograms.
