ECA Group showcased its Special Warfare Underwater Vehicle at NAVDEX 2015
 
At NAVDEX 2015, ECA Group of France showcased its Special Warfare Underwater Vehicle or "SWUV". The SWUV is the future swimmer delivery vehicle (SDV) of the French Navy commandos. This SDV was designed by ECA Group, in cooperation with the French procurement agency (DGA) and French Navy combat divers, for troop delivery and stealth coastline intervention missions.
     
At NAVDEX 2015, ECA Group of France showcased its Special Warfare Underwater Vehicle or "SWUV". The SWUV is the future swimmer delivery vehicle (SDV) of the French Navy commandos. This SDV was designed by ECA Group, in cooperation with the French procurement agency (DGA) and French Navy combat divers, for troop delivery and stealth coastline intervention missions. ECA Group stand at NAVDEX 2015 with the A9 man portable Autonomous Underwater Vehicle left and the SWUV right
     
The SWUV will be capable of deploying remote intelligence subsystems while underwater, and then forward video or tactical information via radio or satlink.

The main missions of this SDV will be:
- Divers and VIP delivery on target area
- Coastal intelligence with electro optical subsystem
- Explosives transportation to target area

It can transport 6 special forces divers including the crew of 2.
