DSEI 2019: Streit Group Triton 850 RIB Armored Boat in naval live demonstration


The new high-performance interceptor armored boat "Triton 850 RIB" of Streit Group will participate in waterborne demonstrations during the international defense exhibition (DSEI) which takes place in London, United Kingdom, from September 10 to 13, 2019.

Exhibitors can showcase their autonomous and maritime capabilities to the DSEI community in live waterborne demonstrations. Taking place twice daily on the Royal Docks the demonstrations can be viewed from a purpose-built grandstand. The action will also be shown on DSEI TV which is broadcast on screens throughout the exhibition halls and via a big screen on the dock edge. Outside of the official demo times, the vessel can be taken out onto the water for private client demonstrations. See below for details of what will be included in the demonstrations.

STREIT’s Triton boats are used for wide range of mission profiles, from fast patrol crafts that provide maximum mission-range and crew comfort to suitable size with many options available including deck mounting of crew-served weapons systems, tactical boarding ladders, FLIR cameras and recording and wireless headset communication systems; Triton boats offers anti-piracy, tactical configurations that are designed to meet each client’s unique mission requirements.

The Triton 850 RIB (Military Armored Compact Vessel) is 8.5 m in length, with a beam of 2.32 m, a draught of 0.85 m. It is currently built with 2x250-hp twin engines (Mercury) but a similar version is available with 1x250-hp engines. They have a top speed of 100 Km/h and a maximum capacity of ten passengers with a top weight of 1300 KG. Each vessel is estimated 3700 KG without engine whereas amazing fuel capacity of 350 litres (armored).
