The Gennady Dmitriev was laid in 2017. The standard displacement is 3205 tons and the full one is 3627 tons. The vessel is 77.8-meter long and 15.8-meter wide. The draft is 4 meters. Economical speed is 12 knots. The cruising range is 3000 miles and 30 days.

Project 20360M ships will carry munitions to Navy bases and warships in open sea. The Gennady Dmitriev has an ice-resistant hull, a double bottom and double sides. The vessel has two cargo compartments and a place for containers, as well as a 20-ton crane and a bow helipad. "It is important that nearly each auxiliary vessel is provided a possibility to operate in the Arctic," expert Vladimir Dadykin said.

The Vice Admiral Paromov small sea tanker joined the Black Sea fleet on June 7, 2021. Paltforma-Arktika-class project 03182 was produced by Zelenodolsk Design Bureau. The Defense Ministry ordered four tankers for the Black Sea and Pacific fleets in 2014-2015.

The new tanker has Arc4 ice-class and can break one-meter-thick ice. The ship is 75- meters long and 15.4-meter wide. The displacement is 3500 tons. The cruising range is 1500 nautical miles and 30 days.

The barges and tankers built in the 1980s specialized in one type of cargo. The Vice-Admiral Paromov can carry various cargoes, including ship, diesel and aircraft fuel, and potable water. It can participate in rescue operations and clear water of pollution.

The helipad of the tanker can accommodate Ka-27 rotorcraft and drones. The vessel has pod propulsion system and bow thrusters, which provide good maneuverability and seaworthiness in a rough sea.

The Material-Technical Provision of the Russian Armed Forces journal said auxiliary vessels of the Navy sailed close to 500 thousand nautical miles in 2020 and supplied 211 warships in the distant sea zone. They delivered over 337 thousand tons of cargo, engaged in 13 thousand towing operations and 183 supplies in the ice.

The Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper said the Navy received over a hundred modern ships in the past decade, such as the Ilya Muromets icebreaker of project 21180, the Elbrus supply vessel of project 23120, the Akademik Kovalev transport ship of project 20180TV, as well as modern floating cranes, tugboats, tankers and other vessels. The Russian auxiliary fleet is to be fully renewed in 2027.

Gennady Dmitriev is equipped with two cargo holds, a platform for cargo transportation in containers, a crane with a lifting capacity of 20 tons and a helipad. The hull will be reinforced to operate in ice conditions.

Project 03182 tankers are equipped with an electric power plant with rudder propellers. The crew complement is 24 sailors with accommodation for another eight people. The vessel will be equipped with a helipad for Ka-27 Class helicopters.

Its missions will include patrol and rescue duty in the areas of shipping, fisheries, offshore oil and gas fields; Search and assisting ships in distress; technical support in the areas dangerous for navigation; maintenance of transport operations in ports; removal from the shoals and reefs of vessels in distress; pumping water from flooded compartments and emergency towing vessels and objects to shelter area, including in the ice; perform the functions of the fire ship.
