Xavier Vavasseur is based in Paris. He launched Navy Recognition in the summer of 2011 when he joined Army Recognition Group. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Institute of Technology (FIT). Xavier has been covering naval defense topics for nearly a decade, spending occasional time at sea aboard frigates, destroyers, amphibious vessels and an aircraft carrier. He also toured and reported on naval vessels from Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America.
