In recent years, the Chinese Navy's ASW capabilities have been greatly enhanced, and a large number of advanced ASW technology equipment, such as sonar, torpedoes, and ASW aircraft, have begun to be equipped in large numbers.
In addition, one of the more important ASW equipment is a large number of Fish-8 ASW-assisted torpedoes/ASW missiles equipped on Type 054A frigates, which has brought the long-range independent ASW capability of Chinese naval vessels to a new level.
ET-80 is launched from a vertical launcher and can attack conventional and nuclear submarines within 5-30 km. The warhead can use the ET52C or ET60 torpedoes.
