With a length of around 4 meters and compatibility with 21-inch launch tubes, the U-IV is capable of being easily transported and deployed in a variety of environments.

The U-IV UUV's modular design allows for flexibility in configuring and customizing the platform to suit specific mission requirements. Pressure-tight internal boxes and optimized external shape with free water circulation are key features that contribute to the U-IV's exceptional performance.

Equipped with electric propulsion and a main propeller, the U-IV is capable of cruise or high-speed navigation, with thrusters located in the bow and aft section for maneuverability and hovering.

The U-IV also features two bow control surfaces and a cross-configuration stern stabilizer and rudder for the best control authority and stabilization to withstand external disturbances.

With a maximum speed in the 8-10 knots range and a cruise speed of 4-6 knots, the U-IV is ideal for a wide range of underwater missions, including reconnaissance, surveillance, and detection of underwater threats.
