The ship has a displacement of 5,110 long tons (5,190 tonnes), which adds considerable heft and stability. With a length of 263 feet (80 meters) and a beam — or width — of 59 feet (18 meters), it offers ample space for carrying out various operations.

Its draft, or the vertical distance between the waterline and the bottom of the hull, is 17.7 feet (5.4 meters), while the depth measures 24.6 feet (7.5 meters).

Driving the Navajo-Class ship is a robust diesel propulsion system, comprised of two Wartsila 8L32 engines, each delivering a formidable 6,308 horsepower. This powerful propulsion allows the vessel to reach a speed of 15.1 knots (28.0 km/h; 17.4 mph), making it swift and agile on the water.

Capable of covering 8,170 nautical miles (15,130 kilometers; 9,400 miles), these vessels can stay out at sea for extended periods, enabling long-duration missions. Each Navajo-Class ship can accommodate 42 sailors, highlighting its capacity to host a full crew for efficient operations.
