According to a PR published by Rohde & Schwarz Australia on May 3, 2022, the firm will design and manufacture an integrated communications system (ICS) for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Hunter Class Frigate Program (HCFP), following the signature of a contract with BAE Systems Australia’s (BAESA) maritime division that allows for the addition of scopes of work over time.

According to information published by the U.S. DoD on May 2, 2022, the keel for the future USS John L. Canley (ESB 6), the Navy’s fourth Expeditionary Sea Base (ESB), was laid at General Dynamics National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (GD-NASSCO) shipyard in San Diego.
