SAAB and PT Lundin introduce their redesigned Stealth Fast Attack Craft Trimaran
 
During Indo Defence 2014, the international defence exhibition held in Jakarta in November, SAAB and local shipyard PT Lundin presented a redesigned Stealth Fast Attack Craft (FAC) trimaran. The first hull of the original project called KRI Klewang 625 (solely designed and built by PT Lundin) was destroyer in a fire in Septembre 2012 shortly after its launch. The new project, presented by SAAB as a turnkey system solution, incorporates many modification and improvements.

At Indodefence 2014, South Korean company Hyundai WIA showcased its K-76L/62 76mm naval gun
 
Hunydai WIA of South Korea was showcasing its 76mm naval gun system during Indo Defence 2014, the international defence exhibition held in Jakarta in November. Talking to a WIA representative, Navy Recognition learned that this naval gun has already been selected by the Republic of Korea Navy (ROK Navy): Seventeen are being fitted on the "PKG" Gumdoksuri-class patrol vessel and one will be fitted onboard the 'MLS-II' anti-submarine minelayer currently being built by Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Saab and P.T Lundin unveiled the BONEFISH at Indo Defence Expo 2014– a concept demonstration Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) to gauge market interest. The platform combines a trimaran hull with remote and autonomous control systems. It is integrated with radar, acoustic and electro-optical sensors and multiple communication systems.

DCNS announces partnership with Indonesian shipyard PT Pal during Indo Defence 2014
 
At Indo Defence 2014, the international defence exhibition currently held in Jakarta, DCNS revealed it has signed a partnership with local shipyard PT Pal to co-develop future Indonesian Defence Vessels. As part of the agreement, the future vessels should be built in Indonesia and would include a high level of local industrial content, through Indonesian-French long term cooperation.
