SIGMA 9813 Frigates Sultan Moulay Ismail & Allal Ben Abdellah, Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding
 
On 10 March 2012, after successful sea trials and finishing of outfitting details, Frigate, Sultan Moulay Ismail, the second of three frigates for the Royal Moroccan Navy built by Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding (DSNS) in Vlissingen, was transferred to the Royal Moroccan Navy. The third frigate, Allal Ben Abdellah, was transfered on 8 September 2012. The last two frigates are SIGMA 9813 Frigates (1,950 tonnes) while the first Frigate delivered by DAMEN is a SIGMA 10513 Frigate (2,185 tonnes).

On Friday 23 December 2011, HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, officially commissioned the SIGMA 10513 Frigate ‘Tarik Ben Ziyad’ for the Moroccan Royal Navy. The 105 meter long SIGMA Frigate, built by Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding, was transferred to the Moroccan Royal Navy in September 2011.
